Marshall 74399, NR 180, 4/1921, unnamed

In April 1921 Marshall, Sons & Co. Ltd., Britannia Ironworks, Gainsborough, Lincs. produced engine works no 74399, registration NR 180, type RR, C cyl, 10-ton engine with a HP5, which was not named.
This engine was lot 420 in the Lambert Steam Engine Auction in Horsmonden, June 1955 selling to Mr Arnold of Chatham whose bid was £75.
The engine is owned by Graham and Alison Austin.
Currently located in Ipswich* (Traction Engine Register 2020*)
