Aveling & Porter 8753, MKP 137, 2/1917, Silver Streak

In February 1917 Aveling & Porter from Rochester, Kent produced engine works no 8753, registration MKP 137, type T-R, BTD, C cyl, 8-ton engine with a HP4, now known as Silver Streak.

This engine was lot 424 in the Lambert Steam Engine Auction June 1955 and sold for £85.
Currently located in Kilkenny, Ireland* (Traction Engine Register 2020*)
