Aveling & Porter 12186, PK 2684, 8/1928, Annie Laurie

In August 1928 Aveling & Porter from Rochester, Kent produced engine works no 12186, registration PK 2684, type T, AM, Compound cyl, 7-ton engine with a HP6, known as Annie Laurie.

This engine was lot 432 in the Lambert Steam Engine Auction June 1955 selling for £75. Annie Laurie was used at Failford Sawmills. Now in preservation at Thursford Museum, Norfolk
