SUMMER NOSTALGIA EVENT

Horsmonden History, Memories and Nostalgia facebook group is pleased to announce a SUMMER NOSTALGIA event to be held at the Horsmonden Social Club on Saturday June 24th – 10:30am to 4.30pm.

Meet your old school friends, people you grew up with, reminisce about your memories and recollections, share nostalgic moments.

Take a glimpse of and enjoy a discussion about Horsmonden in bygone days and changes that have taken place.

See slide shows and digital photo frames of Horsmonden, how it was and how it is now.

See the village website and facebook pages updated.

Exhibition of photographs and memorabilia by the Horsmonden Historical Society.

Live footage of the day’s programme relayed to friends and family in faraway places.

Real time communications – say hello, reminisce and share memories with those you’ve not seen for ages.

Take part and help share and preserve the History of Horsmonden for future generations.

Bring along previously shared items for scanning to archive quality.

Uncover and bring the hidden photographs and memorabilia of Horsmonden bygone days, people, places and events and we’ll scan or photograph them so you can take them home with you. These will be put forward for inclusion in a special NOSTALGIA section on the Horsmonden Village Website – a nostalgia scrapbook for all to see.

Enjoy a drink with your friends after the event in the Social Club’s pleasant atmosphere.
