Volunteers needed!
The Parish Council have kindly given £100 worth of bulbs for planting around the village.
We have opted for mixed daffodils and large croci (crocuses).
We decided to plant this initial lot on the four main roads entering the village, around the verges at the 30mph and Horsmonden signs. Hopefully over the years, we can carry on planting right into the village centre.
We have four ‘group’ leaders:
Maidstone Road

We are planning to plant bulbs on Maidstone Road starting 2pm on Saturday 17th December around the 30mph sign ie outside the Sports Club. If anyone is interested they should bring a spade, fork and a high viz jacket.
Brenchley Road

Goudhurst Road

We are planning to plant bulbs on Goudhurst Road starting 2pm on Saturday 17th December around the 30mph. If anyone is interested they should bring a spade, trowel or fork and a high viz jacket or bright clothes.
Lamberhurst Road

We are doing the Lamberhurst Road at 2pm by the 30mph sign on Saturday 17th December (weather allowing!)
Everyone is welcome!
Please bring your own spade, trowel, bulb planter or whatever. Also please wear bright clothing, as we will be on verges, and the roads can be busy. Children must be accompanied by responsible adult.
We have 4 high viz jackets per road, so if you have your own please bring it.
