50-strong cavalcade to drive through Horsmonden
A 50-strong cavalcade of military vehicles, many dating back to the 1940s, is due to drive through the Weald of Kent on Sunday morning to celebrate the 25th anniversary of a motoring club.
The road rally, organised by the Invicta Military Vehicle Preservation Society (IMPS), is due to start from outside Pembury Hospital at 10.30am and pass through the villages of Matfield, Brenchley, Horsmonden, Goudhurst and Cranbrook, before finishing in Benenden for a wreath laying ceremony at the village’s war memorial at 12noon.
